Savory Golden Turmeric Breakfast Waffles

Last week we cooked up some sweet Lemon Blueberry Waffles thanks to Shannon @fitstrongshann, but this week we're mixing it up with a SAVORY breakfast waffle thanks to Kayla @cravecolumbus

These waffles are also full of veggies, healthy fats, and gluten free to boot-- it relies on sweet potatoes and eggs to make things oh so delicious and filling. The perfect base for some delicious sunny side up eggs, avocado, and a side of bacon for the complete weekend brunch for a crowd.

Savory Golden Turmeric Breakfast Waffles

Serving Size: 6 medium sized waffles
Time: 15 minutes total


3 cups of uncooked, shredded sweet potatoes
4 eggs, scrambled
3 tbsp coconut flour
½ cup cheese (optional, if you’re DF!)
½ cup chopped parsley
1 cup chopped spinach
½ tbsp garlic powder
1 tsp Live 24k Golden Fuel
Salt and pepper to taste


1. Mix all ingredients together in a large bowl. Heat your waffle iron according to its directions.

2. Once preheated, make a small ball of your sweet potato mix and press it into the center of the iron. Cook a little longer after the waffle iron dings, and you’re good to go!

3. Serve with a fried egg, bacon, avocado, or any other breakfast favorite.
